Teaching Self-Control
This is an excellent activity for teaching self-control in students. It is quite useful in classes with several behaviour issues. It's important to teach children to monitor and reflect on their own behaviour. It is also important that students set personal goals to help them achieve healthy self-control of their action, words, desires and emotions.

Classroom Management - Behavior Think Sheets
When a student does not meet my expectations in the classroom, I use this Think Sheet to have the student reflect on the unwanted and inappropriate behavior. This is also a great way to document behavior and communicate with parents what is going on. Just be sure to make a copy of the sheet before it is sent home. :)
