These graphic organizers aid students as they learn to locate relevant information needed to complete a citation for a book and a website. The columns are arranged accordingly and include bold punctuation marks as reminders. These forms have been used with Third through Fifth grade students and are a great aid as they transition to an online bibliography source.

Birthday Hats for Each Month of the Year
It is important to acknowledge and celebrate each student's birthday. Especially in the lower grades. I made this birthday hats to go with my polka dot themed classroom. There is a birthday hat for each month and there is space for the names of any and all students who celebrate their birthday in that corresponding month. It's a great addition to my calendar display.

This is an amazingly inspirational story of not the who he was, but the how he became who he was. And throughout the story it asks the reader how they too can become more and get their own personal dreams. How they too can find the hero in themselves.
Great for both children and adults of all ages.

6 Lessons on Courage, Compassion and Connection

I created this document to begin teaching my students about proper APA citation. This was designed for a research project that my third graders do, where they are required to find information in a textbook, two books, and on two websites.
Before teaching my students how to use this sheet, we spent some time talking about "giving credit when credit is due" and how plagiarism is stealing.

Personlig liker jeg å holde orden i klasserommet.
