ELL Persons In History Reading Articles
These sheets are all printables that you can pass out to your class or groups of students. There are 5 pages in total, and each page consists of a short excerpt from an article about a famous person in history. The goal of this assignment is for your ELL students to read the articles and then either give a written or spoken summary of the person that they chose. This exercise is supposed to help your students practice sentence comprehension by summarizing what they have read using context clues.
