In my classroom I use and love Engage NY. I have found however that the lessons as they read can seem limited in regards to small group and differentiation. After using the curriculum for a year and really making it my own I have found a way to incorporate stations using the curriculum and shaping it around my classroom needs.

Star Book Report Craft
Complete the star with story elements and hang them from the ceiling for all to enjoy. The stars have the fronts ready to go with labels and the labels for the backs of the pieces just need to be cut out and glued on. My students loved to see not only their favorite book displayed but a little bit of their art work too.

Where in the World Wednesday is a quick way to assess prior knowledge, pique students' interest in a new geographical location, teach note taking skills, enourage critical thinking, and have FUN while doing it.

ACT TRACKER (HIGH/LOW--FAST/SLOW)
This is an ACT tracker that I created for my students on Publisher. I call it high/low--fast/slow. We practice two of each piece on the Reading portion of the test and do a "Quick Write" or "Power Write" in between each. This allows students to keep track of their scores and word count and at the end of the unit they can determine which pieces they do best on and what particular order they should do them in on the real ACT test. Show Me Tell Me Car Theory Questions
Great booklet I put together for my sister when practicing her driving test!
Show Me, Tell Me are the questions they will ask and the areas of the car that they ask before you start driving on your test. They ask two per test, you get one minor whether you get all wrong or just one.
Has every possible question in it and answers and areas of the car they will ask to see with answers.
