Measurement Test Prep SmartBoard for Grades 3 and 4

Capacity Creature
This is a fun activity you would have your class do after learning about Capacity. I include a quick review of the measurements of gallon, quart, pint, and cup. In this it will show your class an example of a Capacity Creature. It gives them the directions to make a Capacity Creature along with a grading rubric at the end to show them how it will be graded. This is a fun project that the kids really enjoyed.

Pack Billy's Backpack SMART board lesson with worksheet 1.MD.1
Students have to pack Billy's backpack with HIS school supplies. However, they need to determine which items are his based upon clues about the items size. For example, Billy's blue crayon is larger than his green, but smaller than his yellow crayon. If students select the correct item, then the school supply will go into the backpack, but if they are wrong, the item will bounce out.
