This is a 62 page Smartboard file explaining how to use the Pythagorean Theorem. The lesson starts with review of perfect squares and common square roots. The lesson then progresses to an explanation on how to solve when you know 2 legs and then also when you know 1 leg and the hypotenuse. There is practice over problems with a picture of the triangle.
