How I Teach Exponents
This is a 42 page Smartboard lesson on exponents. The lesson starts with the explanation of the base and the power. Next the process is explained. Evaluating with absolute value smartboard game
This is a review game for the smartboard which involves evaluating expressions that include an absolute value. Drag a turtle to the center of the board. Kids work the problem out either on the board or on whiteboards. Then drag the turtle through the white box at the bottom of the page. The answer will appear.
