Daily Weather Forecast

This is a worksheet that works well with weather.com because it is similar to the format on that website. It has sections for weather "right now", "today" and "tonight" along with "tomorrow's weather" and a section that asks what you should wear tomorrow. This is great for elementary as well as middle and high school special education. I use it for my students with moderate/severe autism. The visuals are great!

Kill it! Kill it! The Spotted Lanternfly - Publisher File

A great way to keep up on current agricultural news- students will use this article posted by Delaware Online: Delaware Online - Spotted Lanternfly to read and learn about how the Spotted Lanternfly is now in Northern Delaware. Students will use their graphic organizer to identify concerns with a growing Lanternfly population, read about how to correctly identify a Spotted Lanternfly and more. Great for sub work or just for an informational lesson on invasive species.

Darwin, his journey, evidence for evolution, cladograms--it's all in here. Use actual locks and boxes, OR use this fun lesson with a simple envelope system! Enough problems for 6 groups of students, or more if you use the problems in duplicate. I actually made different codes and problems for each group. With locks: utilizes 3, 3-digit locks, one MasterLock combination lock, four boxes, some paper, and a lot of fun!! I got the locks and toolboxes at Dollar Tree, or I also bought inexpensive unf

Human Populations Demographics Cheat Sheet

When I create a unit, I create these cheat sheets by copying them double-sided on colored paper. Then I laminate them and keep them at the desks (1 for every 2 students), so they can refer to it during notes and activities. I also use them for bell work review questions, closure questions, partner review, etc. One side contains important diagrams and objectives, and the other side has the vocabulary for the unit.

Climate Change Notebook Divider and Assignment Tracker

This divider is set up for an interactive notebook. There is a line that folds over to show the unit number on either side of the page. One side is glued down onto the notebook page on the front, the other side of the fold is glued on to the back of the same page. The edge of the divider extends out beyond the edge of the notebook, so students can quickly flip to the right section of their notebook. The tracker side of the divider gives teachers a chance to explain the type of work that will be
