This is a set of questions that accompanies the Realidades 1 video series, "¿Eres tú, María?" There are 5 to 10 comprehension questions to accompany each episode 1 thru 6 and 8-9. "Sugar" is a great movie to show spanish 1 or 2 classes. It is about Miguel Santos who comes to the US to play baseball and send money back to help his family. He struggles with language barrier, and different social cues. Eventually he finds his dream of being a major league baseball player to much and goes to NY to find work. There he finds work and a group of rejected spanish baseball players who have created a team of their own.
