This is a SMARTboard activity that I created to review vocabulary for my annotated version of A Christmas Carol for beginner ELL/ESL/ESOL students. It includes 4 different matching activities that review the definition, Spanish equivilents and verb or adjective sort of the vocabulary words. Left in template in case you would like to edit it.

With this simple editable lesson , you will be able to help your students analyze "Annabel Lee," by Edgar Allan Poe. This lesson includes the learning objectives, a do now, a stop-and-think exercise, and a closing. Students should have been introduced to the poem, literary devices, and vocabulary, before completing this stop-and-think exercise. This lesson was designed for transitioning/expanding English language learners. The lesson is provided in two different formats, Notebook 11 and Nearpod.

Police Hunt
This fun interactive SmartBoard lesson is a great way to review the letters from A-P as well as basic sight words.
Click or tap on the side of the police badge when the children get the letters and words correct and watch their esteem fly with the encouragement props.
There is also a mini story reader inside to help the children read using the basic sight words that are in the program.
This is a great way to assess the knowledge of the sight words and alphabet letters.
