These are some of the most common prefixes used. I created a poster for each with the prefix, meaning and example. I printed mine using my classroom colors and then backed them on card stock. Since I am using these for hanging in my classroom, I also laminated them. I find that it is another resource for my struggling readers to use when searching for the meaning of unfamiliar words. This game can be used for any foreign language class. Students are in pairs and receive one dice. They also receive a handout with several tic-tac-toe boards. On the board/handout, the teacher will write the 6 verbs required to conjugate with the dice. Students roll the dice, determine the verb needed to conjugate, and then choose a place on the tic-tac-toe board to write the conjugation. If the student is correct, they can place their X or O on the board. The game continues until someone wins.
