There are several options for how to use these cards:

Reading Log
This reading log has bright colorful pictures to help ESOL students log their reading each night. You can use this in the regular ed classroom as well. Prefix Posters
These are some of the most common prefixes used. I created a poster for each with the prefix, meaning and example. I printed mine using my classroom colors and then backed them on card stock. Since I am using these for hanging in my classroom, I also laminated them. I find that it is another resource for my struggling readers to use when searching for the meaning of unfamiliar words. The art of gesture
The art of gesture presented in simplified English for non Native English speakers. Since much of our communication is non verbal this lesson teaches how to recognize the meaning of body language and common high frequency gestures commonly used by native English speakers in western culture.
