For the Math students that have a hard time grasping the concept, visual aids help tremendously. Reminding them that if the number ends in a 4 or below, they round down and if the number ends in a 5 or higher, they round up. I like to also laminate these, which allows the student to use a dry erase marker to help with visual counting.
