Sentence Breakdown

Twice a week I use this in my classroom. I add a sentence from a novel, story, or passage I am reading. The first couple of times, I model as a whole class. Then, I break them down into groups. After about six times, I have them attempt individually. I pick up the practice and use to make individual groups for areas where the students are struggling. I alter the document to fit different grade levels. I have used it with 3rd - 5th but can easily be used through 8th grade.
