The Devil in the White City Lesson Plans and Teaching Guide
A twenty-day unit designed by The Pedantic Project with a nod to the 11-12 ELA Common Core Standards. The unit begins with a gallery walk that requires students to make predictions and form opinions. After that, the students will divide into groups and use technology to research six components of the late 1800s, including the Gilded Age. Each topic has a graphic organizer (with a teacher key).
