Let's talk about the sun!
This smartboard lesson teaches students about the sun and why we need it. The lesson first goes over facts about the sun. It then goes on to introduce students to why we need the sun to survive. In the lesson there is an animation of the Earth orbiting the sun. There is also a Bill Nye video about the sun. At the end of the lesson there is a culmination activity that will allow students to share a piece of information that they learned from the lesson.
