Text Feature Worksheet or Quiz
Students are asked to use a nonfiction book to locate text features and explain how the author uses text features. Table of contents, glossary, index, bold words, heading, captions, diagrams, maps, and sidebars are addressed. Teachers will need to prepare the worksheet (can be written or typed) with some information in order to use the worksheet with a nonfiction book.

Country Research Project
Students can collect information on an assigned country by reading books on Epic or from phyiscal classroom library. Students then gather the information in the graphic organizer. Students then create a presentation with each square being a slide or talking point.
