Description

This is a nonfiction text and graphic features activity that can stand alone or be used with any book. This was made with 2nd graders in mind, but could easily be used for 1st, 3rd, or 4th graders also. Have the students match the cards and then write what type of text or graphic feature each box shows on the worksheet. These sheets can be used as a quick assessment for text and graphic features. It could also be used for whole or small group instruction or a reading station. The students can work on this sheet independently with little or no help from me.
