Protein Synthesis and Genetic Disease Poster Project
This is instructions and a rubric for a protein synthesis poster project. I usually accompany this with acting out the process of protein synthesis.
The students have to explain the process of transcription and translation and then elaborate on how the process can go wrong and lead to a problem with a protein (a genetic disease).

Microscope Focusing Help Sheet
This is a basic step by step guide to teach students how to focus a microscope. The steps are very simple and easy to follow.
