Community Engagement - Creating Public Art: Digital Story
This Digital Storytelling Unit is designed to be completed over the course of three to four weeks. The students are to select a historical figure and act as that person is alive today and taking pictures like many teenagers do today. The example I have is FDR. All the pictures, I took myself and I added captions and emojis. The students loved doing this. They have to research their figure beforehand, but then take pictures anytime. Home, school, work, mall, whatever comes to mind. Highly recommend this!
