This is a cross-curricular lesson with ELA and Art. Students learn about/review alliterations and read a poem by Jack Prelutsky. This is connected to an artist who paints realistic things but enjoys adding abstract elements. Students will then draw their own ice cream cone and create their own alliteration flavors.
