This book was created as a less expensive option for a student textbook, or as an inexpensive supplemental option to an already existing textbook. Although it does not cover every historical event, it does highlight many events and encourages higher order thinking skills and further reading and research. It is a great book for any student that is taking early American History to 1877. It exemplifies Bloom's Taxonomy!
