This homophones webquest is suited to students from years 3-6. Students 'dig' at seven (internet) sites to try (learning their homophones at each site) to find the number of steps pirates must walk (in a north-west direction), from the 7th site, to find a buried treasure. At each of the 'digs', students access an internet site about 'homophones'. They must complete the site to answer the questions (clues) given. Each clue will lead the student to a number.
