Students select two cell phone plans to compare using the website www.whistelout.com/CellPhones and utilize their knowledge of systems of equations to answer guiding questions. A wonderful way to connect math to the real world.A *PERFECT* option for an assessment that isn't multiple choice! :)

Intro to System of Equations with Desmos (Distance Learning)
This is an activity I have used for my 8th grade math to introduce the idea of what the answer to system of equations is. Students go online and use Desmos.com to type in the equations and write down the number of equations and the point solution if necessary. This activity eases students into this difficult concept.
