The Decimal Song
A few years ago, I had a conversation with students that led me to realize that many of them lack a basic understanding of the concept of a decimal (ie. it works like a fraction- it is less than one, or part of a whole).
That led to me working this song into my math program. It is simple and catchy and hammers the point home, so that they won't (can't!) forget it. I used it as an introduction into decimals because it pumps up a unit that can otherwise get a bit dry.

Multi-Digit Decimal Arithmetic Worksheet
This worksheet is designed to be used with my music video "Without You (My Calculator)" on my YouTube channel "mrsteffessongs".
First, students fill in the blanks with lyrics from the video to see what they can do without a calculator. Then there are four sections of exercises or examples with three problems in each section.
