Battle of the Plains of Abraham Reader's Theatre
This is a reader's theatre script that tells the story of the Battle of Plains of Abraham from both the British and French point of view. Characters include General Wolfe and his staff, General Montcalm, Governor Vaudreuil, and Bishop Pontbriand, as well as several regular soldiers on both sides of the conflict. This bundle entirely in French from Chez Nathalie is a series of plays based on sacred elements in 5 First Nation legends. This product entirely in French from Chez Nathalie is a theatrical adaptation of the Abenakis legend: Gluskabe et le vol du tabac (How Gluskabe Stole Tobacco), which focuses on tobacco, a sacred plant. Gluskabe’s grandmother is sad that there is no more tobacco, and her grandson wants to see her happy. When Gluskabe learns that a selfish and dangerous wizard (Grasshopper) grows it solely for his own purposes on an island far away, Gluskabe decides to steal his tobacco and share it with everyone.

Plays that are fun! I AM CANADIAN!
This play was used at Christmas because the concert was all about a Canadian Christmas but it is really a wonderful review of everything Canadian. The students were very proud that they had memorized in rhyming form all the incredible things Canada can be very proud of accomplishing. This was such a hit with our parents that we performed it for 2 other schools just at an assembly!
