You can use these for extra credit or group assignments. There are (5) total assignments/projects that your students can choose from. The way I set it up is to allow the student to receive up to 50 extra credit points if they completed all 5 assignments before the due date. This product can be used to supplement your study of black history. Students will research Harriet Tubman, George Washington Carver, and Rosa Parks. They will then write about two ways in which the work of each has made a difference in today's world. For younger students, you could have the students choose one African American to research instead of doing all three.
