This is a unit based around centers and inquiry learning for second graders. Students engage in different centers including reading, writing prompts, and games several times a week. Students also learn through video resources and student/teacher read alouds. Students will also participate in a presidential wax museum as the culminating piece of the unit. This inquiry learning may seem simple and easy, but it is one of the greatest ways to get all students engaged at their own learning pace.
