This project was developed to support 3rd grade math, social studies, ELA, and science standards. I had students bring in recyclable boxes to prepare for the project. I also used recycled boxes, such as a big TV boxes, as the base of each team's "city." During the project, I played a clip of the song to get them pumped up!
