Mother's Day Teapot & Poem
This product coordinates well with my other free product: Mother's Day Questions
I have my students use watercolors to make the teapot - we like to use the glitter paints from Prang! Then I usually cut out the teapots (but you can allow your children to do the cutting) and glue them to a white doily. Then we also water color the hearts (using one color), cut them out and staple the heart with a tea bag underneath to the teapot. We present them to our moms along with the completed questions p

Plants-Order by Size and Life Cycle of a Plant
I created this little freebie to help my students understand the life of a plant and work in our math skill ordering by size!
I cut them out before class and together we ordered them in the pocket chart. Then students got to color cut them and order them by size on chart paper. They did a great job! If you like this please check out my Little Brown Seeds Shared Reading poem. They go great together!

Spring Flowers Combinations of 10 Book
This product addresses these Common Core Standards:
K.OA.3 Decompose numbers less than or equal to 10 into pairs in more than one way.
K.OA.4 For any number 1 to 9, find the number that makes 10 when added to the given number.
Students make a book to identify the combinations of 10. A set of cards of the flowers in color and black/white are included so that students can practice making combinations with pictures.

In this resource, students will label a tomato plant with the parts of the plant. They will label the stem, leaf, flower, fruit, and roots. On the second page, students will draw and label their own plant, such as a flower. This activity would be fun to do as a watercolor resist activity, where students use crayons to draw their flowers and then paint over their flowers with watercolor paints.The last activity is a matching activity where students match vegetables with the part of the plant.
