Pi Day! Calculate Pi
In this activity students will learn how to calculate Pi on their own. They will learn how to find circumference and diameter, and then calculate pi to the nearest hundredth. A great activity for strong dividers and for helping to teach circumference, diameter, chords, and center point.

This project engages students in integer operations in a real world context. Students will use a report form to track a business' income/expenses; create a business of their own; design a form (or spreadsheet) to track their income/expenses; and write good day/bad day scenarios for their business, completing the form to match.
