This is great Halloween/fall lab during a genetics unit. All you will need isheavy duty ziploc bagPumpkin Puree10 mL DNA extraction buffer (soapy, salty water) Coffee Filter funnel 50mL vial / test tube popsicle stick AlcoholI used one large pumpkin for 100 students.
