Making Homemade Ice Cream in a Bag
This is a really FUN activity. The students make ice cream in a bag.
I have used it as an activity for physical science and phase changes. I have also just used it as a fun end-of-the-year activity.
I also included some activities that I have my students do while they are waiting to make their ice cream or waiting for other kids to finish their ice cream. I have the kids create their own ice cream flavor. This is easily turned in to a writing assignment.

The Science of Glow Sticks
This activity is a great way to add a science lesson to a NEON or GLOW day with your students! The only materials you will need are glow sticks (I used three per table group), three clear cups, and cold/warm/hot water.
