I made this game for my kinders and it was a hit. I changed grades to second grade and now I've made it for them.
I use a mix of spatulas and tongs to let the kids flip the eggs over. They place them all face down on the carpet, flip, and record on the sheet provided.

Plurals Phonics Center (-y to -ies)
This was created as a center activity focusing on plural words that change y to -ies. I cut out the cards and laminate them. I make copies of the worksheet that goes with it. I then put all the cards into a sandwich bag and place it at the center. The children use the worksheet and the cards, sort them and the write the answers on the sheet. It can also be used as a take home activity in a literacy bag or as a game for early finishers.

In this game the students use two color-coded dice (either they make them or you can make them ahead of time) to roll an onset and a rime.
