This is a template and lesson I have used to teach students how to write a prayer. I have included examples created by 6-8 year old children. They have written these prayers completely independently. We then glued the prayers to construction paper and decorated with stickers. At our school, each class takes a turn to say Morning Prayer on the announcements for a few weeks.
