This is my first Letter of the Week SMARTNotebook file made for Teachers Pay Teachers. Your feedback is much appreciated to improve later activities. I have used a variety of the activities in both whole and small group instruction. The students like dragging objects on the SMARTBoard so much that I usually have it as an independent center for them to continue to practice their letter skills.

This Smartboard lesson reinforces the reading skills taught in the kindergarten Harcourt reading series for lesson 3. It includes a themed background to go along with a spider or October unit.
