Butterfly Dance
This is a song about the cycle of Monarch butterflies, starting off as caterpillars, turning into chrysalises, and then hatching as butterflies. Monarch butterflies, who migrate every spring from Mexico to the northern part of the United States, and then back again in the fall, can travel up to 3,000 miles. A wonderful song to illustrate, or invite students to move to.
