TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I worked as a paraprofessional in the Multiple Disabilities classroom for a year before beginning in the position of Math Intervention Specialist grades 9-12. After a year in that role, I began shifting focus to science and started teaching Physical Science in addition to my math courses. I am now in my second year as a teacher, looking forward to many more!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a hybrid teaching style, and attempt to change what we are doing a couple times per class period (our classes are about 75 minutes long, so we switch things up more frequently in my class than I would in a shorter time period)!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from The Ohio State University in December of 2020 with a degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Neuroscience. From there, I attended Ohio State's Alternative Resident Educator Institute to get my teaching license in Integrated Science 7-12, in 2021. I graduated with a Master's of Science in Curriculum and Instruction in October of 2023 from Western Governor's University.
