I am a licensed teacher with the NYC Board of Ed since 2001. I have taught 5th and 6th grades for my entire career.I have extensive experience in ELA as that has been my primary subject taught since 2006. I have 5 years experience with Math, SS, and Science. I also incorporate technology into many of my lessons.
I usually have my students work in small groups working collaboratively toward an end goal or project. Several of my lessons do require independent practice as well.
