TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am the world language & culture specialist in my district. I mainly teach Spanish grades K-8, and have been teaching Spanish and World Culture for 4 years

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is interactive with a focus on visuals such as pictures and videos as well as games, drills, and creative practice. I develop and design my lessons and games almost 100% of the time, and enjoy creating said lessons and coming up with new ideas.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an academic concentration in Spanish. I have a general education teaching license, but I currently teach Spanish in my district. I have studied Spanish for 10+ years and studied at a University in Spain as well as traveled to 16 other countries including non-Spanish speaking countries.

I speak fluent Spanish, intermediate Arabic, and basic Russian. I am an aspiring linguist hoping to get a Master's degree in a program involving linguistics, history, art, culture, and religion. I have planned lessons and designed curriculum on the topics of Spanish, cultures of the world, Latin American History, World History, and religion
