I've taught at Zilker Elementary, Brentwood Elementary, Travis Highschool, and more in addition to working as a professor's assistant for Austin Community College for subjects such as American Literature, Composition 1 and II, as well as U.S. History 1 and II. I've been a motivational speaker for the past 14 years and speak at schools with my keynote Mindset Matters presentation motivating students to learn conflict-resolution and problem solving skills in addition to encouraging college readiness.

I was accepted into the University of Texas with a recommendation letter from the President of Austin Community College and requested to speak at Huston-Tilotson University, the state capital, Human Rights Commission, City Hall and Austin Community College with Raj Patel in regards to food insecurity and social structures that lead to students struggling with homelessness, food, and shelter.
I've gone from being a homeless teen to a college graduate and love education for its power to build social skills, critical thinking and provide a chance to develop both life long mentors and role models as well as supportive networks that empower the youth to succeed in life.
