TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As a product of Habersham County Schools,I find it a privilege each day to teach in the county where I received my education. I currently teach 5th grade English language arts and social studies at Fairview Elementary School in Demorest, Georgia. *Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Truett McConnell University *Master of Art in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College *Education Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College * Reading Endorsed *Gifted Endorsed Prior to joining the public education realm, I spent five years teaching in the private sector and served as a principal for one year. Throughout her eleven years in education, Green has experienced that when you follow life’s calling and purpose, your passion will ignite and inspire those around you. I find myself being FIRM, FAIR, and FRIENDLY in the classroom. My teaching style is that of empowerment. Providing students the opportunity to EMPOWER themselves is the best gift you can provide them.
