TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hey everyone! I’m Jamie and I have three years of experience teaching/tutoring math and science. I've worked primarily with high school students as a full time math tutor. I also taught grades 6-8 math enrichment classes, where I was able to create my own lessons with LaTeX. Throughout my time working with students, I have learned what methods work for them and which ones don't, the common mistakes that are made and gaps in learning & what aspects of units present as the most challenging to students. My goal is always to help students reach their full potential in math and to help them appreciate this beautiful subject and see it as less of a hurtle.
