TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We are a collaborative network of teachers that have worked in Title 1 inner city schools collectively for 30 years as English Language Arts teachers and Literacy Specialists. The teachers at We Move Kids strive to develop curriculum that will engage students while also moving their reading levels and scores. We are also certified professional developers through the Strategic Instruction Method out of Kansas City and hold additional professional certifications in Special Education and Teachers English To Speakers Of Other Languages (TESOL)

MY TEACHING STYLE

Are you expected to increase students' performance on standardized assessments? Has this expectation caused you to "sell out" and change your practice and abandon using novels as the primary mechanisms for instruction? We Move Kids has developed an engaging, rigorous, and cohesive curriculum that allows ELA teachers to use materials that won't kill souls! You will no longer have to rely on traditional "test prep" that makes students and teachers hate the ELA experience.
