TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a creative and resourceful educator that possesses a practical, flexible, and innovative teaching style to increase students' achievement. Also, I have developed the ability to encourage higher order-order thinking, improve students' academic performance, and prepare them to be successful in their assessments, benchmarks, DLA, STAAR, and higher educational pursuit for life.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Virtual Vicarious Learning is a teaching strategy that utilizes technology to deliver interactive and engaging content to students, particularly those who are urban, ESL, struggling, or at-risk. It is based on Alberta Baundra's social theory and involves turning PowerPoint presentations into multimedia experiences that incorporate visual, audio, written, and kinesthetic elements. This approach aims to increase student engagement and improve their understanding of the material. Overall, it's an innovative way to leverage technology to enhance learning and teaching experiences.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Virtual Vicarious Learning is a method of teaching that uses interactive technology such as Google and PowerPoint slides to engage students in exploring topics and tasks in a fun and interactive way. It aims to increase students' understanding of real-world situations by presenting learning as a form of entertainment, rather than a traditional learning activity. This approach can help to eliminate boredom and frustration that can hinder effective eLearning experiences.
