TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught elementary school for over 20 years. Most of my experience has been with 5th and 3rd grade in California, Tennessee and North Carolina. I use Kagan Learning Structures as much as possible to maximize student participation and to make learning real. I have just started really uploading and creating activities to share on Teachers Pay Teachers. Please let me know if you like a product, or if you would like it changed so you can better use it in your classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Lecture, Modeling, Cooperative Learning, 21st Century, Peer partners, small group. I limit lecture to less than 20 minutes of direct instruction and prefer to use the student's multiple intelligence strengths to practice and reinforce learning.
