TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Fifteen years in music education, and nine years as a substitute teacher, in both public and private schools.

MY TEACHING STYLE

A combination of Orff, Kodaly and fun, with special interest in substitute materials, literature connections and games.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My shining moment was when a student that had lots of challenges learned to play a pop song on the recorder for a "Talent Day." in my classroom. She did it so well that I encouraged her to audition for the Talent Show for our school. Hearing her play for the Talent Show was a personal triumph for both of us.
