This is my mathlicious 23rd year teaching in an urban school. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade math. For most of my career, I have had 30 students in each class.
I am mathliciously passionate about instilling a love of math into each of my students. I am very dramatic and project oriented. I build relationships with my students through my engaging projects, activities, and games. I believe everyday at least one fun experience should happen in math class!!

I have the honor of being named the 2016 Illinois Teacher of the Year. I teach at a high poverty level school with a lot of mobility. My wish is for all students to live, laugh, love, and learn math. When kids are having fun while apply the math knowledge, they are more likely to retain what they discovered.
