TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 17th year teaching and I love it. Right now I focus on Reading and Language Arts. I utilize Kagan Structures and Thinking Strategies in my classroom and create many cooperative group activities and powerpoints to enhance student learning for Kentucky Standards. I have been a resource teacher for Kindegarten, 4th Grade and 3rd Grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I team teach with my Special Ed teacher and most of my activities include a 10 minute whole group instruction with the rest working in small groups or cooperative groups/pairs.
