TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been a teacher since 2008. And I've been directing and choreographing for as long as I can remember. In my past life, I was also a professional musical theatre performer/dancer. I currently teach Theatre 1, Theatre 2, Intro to Dance, Tech for the Stage, Musical Theatre, and a theatre production class that produces three main stage shows per year.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The job of a theatre teacher is overwhelming on good days and seemingly impossible on hard days. We wear ALL the hats and are responsible for more than anyone realizes. That's the magic of theatre, right? But with the magic comes insane amounts of organization and planning for productions as well as for daily lesson plans. I hope to provide resources that allow new and experienced theatre teachers to thrive in their theatre programs.
